Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SSSTS R)

The Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SSSTS R) course is a 1-day training course for anyone who needs to renew their current SSSTS certificate before it expires.

The SSSTS certificate expires 5 years after the initial course was completed and if you are unsure when your certificate expires, you can check this by looking at the expiry date on your current certificate. If you are, for any reason, unable to check your certificate then you can use the CITB online card checker to find out this information.

But if your certificate has expired then you would need to resit the full 2-day SSSTS course.

Further Development

The Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) certificate has to be renewed every five years by attending the Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SMSTS R) course. Further qualifications include the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Construction Certificate and the Construction Site Management NVQ Level 6 which will help you attain the CSCS black card.
