Prepare for your open book examination
NEBOSH has been assessing and planning ways to offer remote and online assessments for a range of qualifications and courses. They are introducing this to ensure people feel safe having the option when enrolling onto a NEBOSH course.
The first changes to be made is allowing open book examinations (OBE) for units NG1, 1G1, NGC1 and 1GC1. These units are from the National and International General Certificate, the National and International Certificate in Fire Risk Management, and the National and International Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
You will now be able to sit in the comfort of your own home or in a safe location to sit the exam, instead of an invigilated paper-based examination.
Open book examinations enable you to take your NEBOSH assessment using resources such as notes, textbooks, learning materials and online resources. You will have up to 24 hours to complete your paper - though you should be able to complete the examination in 4-5 hours.
Libben exam dates will be available soon
